Cornerstone Church of Yuba City - Missions

Cornerstone Church of Yuba City supports 12 missionary families and 10 Christian ministries.  Our missionaries serve in Costa Rica, Mexico,  Middle East, Papua New Guinea,  Romania Spain, Tanzania, Taiwan, Venezuela, as well as the United States. A special effort to ethnic populations in the US provides resources and training with outreach locally and nationally (American Ethnic Ministries).

Ministries we support include A Woman's Friend Pregnancy Resource Center and Medical Clinic, AWANA, Twin Cities Rescue Mission, Faith Christian School, Western District of the Evangelical Free Church of AMerica, and the colleges and seminary of the EFCA.

In addition, we encourage and facilitate short-term missionaries. Recent missions destination include Syria, China, Ethiopia, Mexico and Rumania. Each year a "Christmas in July" event raises money to provide a Christmas bonus to our missionaries.

Also, mission awareness events are provided periodically. The Deacon of Missions and Missions Committee meets regularly to promote missions. Likeminded people are invited to participate. Our budget for missions is $75,075.  This is the largest budget category after staff expenses. It represents 10% of our total budget. Giving is done through the general fund.
